Ordering
 

All orders are subject to availability. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.

• Custom celebration cakes: Require you to order via my contact details

• Wedding cakes and dessert tables: Require booking well in advance, typically 3-6 months

• Smaller bakes: May be accommodated at shorter notice depending on availability
   

Payment
 

Payment terms vary depending on the order type:

• Standard orders: Full payment required upon purchase 

• Wedding orders: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, with the balance due before the event
   

Cancellations & Changes
 

I understand plans can change. Please notify me as soon as possible if you need to cancel or modify your order.

• Cancellations with more than 7 days notice: Full refund (excluding deposits where applicable)

• Cancellations with less than 7 days notice: Partial or no refund may apply depending on ingredients purchased

• Wedding deposits are non-refundable
   

Refund Policy
 

Your satisfaction is important to me. If you are unhappy with your order, please get in touch within 24 hours of receiving it so I can try to resolve your  issue.

• Quality issues: If your order arrives damaged or does not meet the agreed specification, please contact as soon as possible and send pictures. All orders are shipped through Royal Mail and photos are taken of the treat prior to being sent out.

• Change of mind: Due to the perishable and bespoke nature of my products, refunds cannot be offered for change of mind once an order has been confirmed and production has begun

• Wedding orders: The non-refundable deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is refundable if cancelled more than 2 months before the event. Cancellations within 2 months are non-refundable
  Refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 7-10 working days.
   

Collection & Delivery

• Collection: Available from Saltash 

• Local delivery: Free if you are in Saltash, I don't deliver unless for certain circumstances

• Nationwide delivery: Through my website all orders and bakes are shipped through Track 24/48 royal mail and is a flat rate of £5 that is factored into the final price , so you dont pay shipping on top.
   

I cannot be held responsible for damage to items during postal transit once they have been handed over to the courier.
 

Allergen Information
 

I can cater for various INTOLERANCE  requirements including gluten-free and dairy free options—just ask! However, please note that all bakes are prepared in my home kitchen where common allergens (including nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs) are handled. While I take precautions, I cannot guarantee complete absence of allergens or prevent cross-contamination. If you have a severe allergy , that is buyers responsibility  . I dont offer to allergies.
 

Limitation of Liability
 

Betty's  Bakes takes every care to ensure products are made to the highest standards. However, I cannot be held liable for any adverse reactions or issues arising from consumption, particularly regarding allergens where you have been advised of potential cross-contamination risks.
 

Images & Content

All images on this website are of my own work unless otherwise stated. Custom orders are made to order and while I strive to recreate designs as closely as possible, slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of my bakes. All bakes will be posted on my social media , please let me know if this is a problem and i wont post it.
